Updates
AUGUST 19, 2008 Woo! A big welcome to all of our new members! A quick update to say that loners are temporarily banned-- choose a pack and request to join asap. :D If you have any questions on this please ask. If you have been waiting to roleplay your Clandestine, wait no longer! Maddi is making a thread for the pack meeting as I speak... er- write. :)
AUGUST 15, 2008 Demos can't make up her mind. The default layout has changed once again. Hahah. Don't worry, if you like the dark layout better you can change it back by going through your controls. (:

Maddi finally got the nerve to put up an update, even though Demos is actually putting it up! xD Though I must say activity is wonderful and we are now off our probation, do not take that like you can just drop off Stellar. We need to keep it consecutive. I wanted to say Clandestine auditions are now open and Silicon Canopy is accepting! If you would like a Clandestine, PM Vein with his/her application and I will give you a yes or no to the character! Beware that the Clandestine will have a plot with them, so you MUST be active with your character.
AUGUST 14, 2008 We are trying to bring up activity after our quiet summer. Please post in the activity check thread if you are still alive and roleplaying. The admin are also busy setting up an additional plot line to make things more interesting! :3 Look forward to it!

Northern Stellar
–––––––– Ziak Cove,
This is one of the most northern islands in all of Stellar’s chains. Northern Stellar is categorized by it’s dense and impossible forests. Once you get to the heart of it’s forests it gets immensely difficult to move around. Prey is tricky to catch. Most of the wolves in the area have grown accustomed to eating the berries and scavenging for fresh carcass left behind from some other hungry creature. To the east resides a desert. Not the cliché kind of desert. No, this desert is cold during the day and even cooler at night. Caribou are the common prey, but because they are so adapted it takes a lot of work for a single wolf to take one down. Northern Stellar is a very harsh milieu.

Haitez
–––––––– Charade Mountain,
Haitez is the only island that has mountains. The inhabitants proudly boast about their homeland and the rocks that can reach the stars themselves. Because there is such a vast chain of mountains, valleys are found everywhere. Heavenly warm pastures with great views of the snow and pine covered mountains. The northern part of Haitez is covered in a forest. Not even close to the eerie silent forests in Northern Stellar.

Distow
–––––––– Fore Ruins,
Distow is the most dreariest of Stellar’s Islands. Half of it’s face is scarred by the Great Fire that swelled long ago. A storm hit Stellar, story tellers say, brought by the fury of the Meteorite at the discovery of it’s divided wolven children. Lightning seared across the sky and started multiple fires. Recovery was not in Distow’s interest and the island remains partially at ruins. Dusty, charred, and depressing ruins. The only prey found here are the desert lizards who burrow in the scattered skulls. On the brighter side, literally, is a vast area of golden grasslands where the tasty. Off to the side is a small Lake and miles away from the only lake is a small patch of green pastures.

Stellar
The main island has a variety of different terrains. The dormant volcano being the trademark with the two large lakes coming in second and third. There is a lot to be seen here! Come admire the frogs who’ll keep even the deep sleepers awake all night. Or play a game of tag through the thick gold grasses? Prey is the most plentiful on the main island. You could find all kinds of yummy food. Frogs, quail, deer, rabbit, even the ridiculous wild turkeys.

Southern Stellar
Temperatures in Southern Stellar always maintain the top peak of unbearable heat. Humidity doesn’t help the conditions. This island takes the bottom of the popularity list, many don’t find it enjoyable to walk through miles and miles of scorched deserts to get to more nothingness. What an uneventful place with it’s tall mute grasslands and flowerless meadows. Even the white sand beach holds no excitement for any wary traveler.

Croon
There isn’t much to Croon Island. The outline of the smallest land mass of Stellar is a golden brown shoreline habited by many seabirds- as the sea between the Stellar island and Croon is full of fish. Inland is a small puddle of a pond and an even smaller creek. The land is half meadow- full of a rainbow array of flowers- and half golden grassland. By far the most prettiest island known to all Stellar inhabitants.

Bass
Bass Island, as you can guess is the capital place to find bass, a breed of fish. Small unmarked lakes dot across the second smallest island and seen from afar is plenty of bass leaping out of the water catching bugs, or just showing off, do we know? The shoreline is the least popular with the birds, because of it’s unsuspected amount of red crabs inhabiting the white sand. These red crabs are erratic creatures unlike the ones found on the other shorelines-- unfortunately for the hybrids they get to hear the crabs angry hollers and brash language. Inland is an area of meadows, not nearly as pretty as Croon Island’s, and tall green grassland.

Latte
–––––––– Paradise Forest,
Latte Island-- a mysterious and eerie air floats around these forests, flower-less meadows, dead grasslands, and white sand deserts. The island is covered in a thick forest and in it’s depths is a very large lake with smaller stream tributaries. Even deeper inside the forest is a small and highly active volcano, it’s eruptions can be heard from the shoreline. Because the volcano is small-- the lava that is spewed from it’s mouth doesn’t reach far into the forest. The ash that is thrown into the air can cause a week of “cloudy” days. This may be why no flowers grow in the meadow and why the grassland hosts very few live grasses. There is an advantage to the distinct climate, unique medical plants grow all over the island. Lone medic wolves are common in Latte, but beware, many aren’t exactly friendly. Their experimental studies of the herbs and plants may result in insanity as a side effect. Perhaps this is the reason for the tense atmosphere, you never know when you’ll be ambushed by a mad wolf.

Harper
–––––––– Silicon Canopy,
Mysterious, clean smog cloaked, and… purple? Why yes, the purple bodies of water that can only be found on Harper Island are sanitary and safe to drink. I wouldn’t plan on swimming though. Monstrous fish dwell in the swirling shadows of the waters. When we say “monstrous” we don’t mean large and hungry. We mean twenty feet long with twelve thousand sharp little teeth waiting for you to make that fatal decision to swim through. Don’t think you’re safe when wading through the streams and rivers either. These monstrosities can stop their growing cycle at as little of one foot long. This doesn’t mean their appetite was stunted too. If you find yourself being munched on, I’d advise you take to the hefty Oaks. Why not a different tree? Well, silly, Oaks make up 98 percent of all trees in Harper Island.
